AHRF staff have conducted several field visits to Arab countries to assess the human rights situation in those countries and to link up with stakeholders there.

The Fund has also produced a study outlining the difficulties of establishing a private association, a charitable NGO or a public-interest foundation in Egypt, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco: “A Comparative Guide on Laws Relating to Establishing an Arab Fund (Endowment or Cash Deposit) to Extend Financial Support for Social Justice Programs in the Arab Region”, 2004 (Abdallah Khalil).
